Hot dogs and hamburgers

Lee has this great analogy that will help you distinguish between a good and a bad resume. Here it is, in his own words:

Let me tell you the difference between a hamburger and a hot dog in a resume. I want you to imagine you are hungry, You go to a restaurant. You say, I would like a cheeseburger with pickles and onions. And the waiter, they judge you for having a cheeseburger with pickles and onions. And nothing else. Then they confirm. You say yes. Only want a cheeseburger with pickles and onions. No ketchup. No mayo. They say, alright. Cool. So they go back. They make your hamburger, and they bring you a hot dog. And they say, here is your hot dog. Then you say, excuse me. I think there’s been a mistake. This this is a hot dog. I wanted a hamburger. And they say, no. A hot dog has meat just like a hamburger. A hot dog has buns just like a hamburger. A hot dog can have pickles, onions, and cheese just like a hamburger. And they say, this is what you wanted based on that. And you would look at them like they were crazy, and you would walk away. That is what I have here.

The process

Try to place 3 KW per bullet point. A KW alone is not a Qualification. A Q is a KW + HOW + REASON/RESULT + WHERE.
